Does Binance allow VPNs?
Before we begin, let’s address the primary Elephant in the room, eh?
Binance does not “officially” allow VPNs. This of course is because Binance needs to comply with laws regarding Cryptocurrencies and trading everywhere it operates.
The VPN of course will let you change your virtual location. As a result, it enables you to access Binance from anywhere, even countries where it’s banned.
This may bring in legal and financial troubles for Binance. So, it’s only natural for Binance to not officially allow or endorse VPN usage.
However, on the brighter side, Binance hasn’t penalized a single account till-date simply for using a VPN. I personally have used a VPN multiple times to access my account when I’m travelling.
So, to answer the question, while VPN doesn’t allow VPNs, it doesn’t break down your doors for using one either.
Which VPNs work with Binance?
Of course, you can’t just use any VPN with Binance.
Binance has a pretty advance VPN-detection firewall in place. Most VPNs will get detected. While you may not be penalized, you’ll still not be allowed to access your account with those VPNs.
In some countries trading is banned, in other Cryptocurrencies are banned and in others VPNs may be banned in general.
So, you need a VPN that has been custom-made to bypass most of these firewalls and obstructions.
While most VPNs I’ve tried fail to bypass Binance detection, PureVPN did impress me.

Do note that you sure can use other VPNs as well. However, I tried about 7 other top VPNs before zeroing in on PureVPN. They all allowed Binance access but lacked one or the other feature that PureVPN offered. Or, were just more expensive without any additional features.
How to use VPN with Binance?
For the purposes of this guide, I’ll be using PureVPN. If you’re short on time and simply need the steps, keep reading.
If you’d like to know why PureVPN is the best Binance VPN, scroll down. I’ve explained all the reasons why I selected this specific VPN that make it perfect for accessing Binance.
Step 1: Choose a PureVPN plan. In my opinion, go for the 24 month plan. It gives you the cheapest rates ($2.08/month).
Step 2: Scroll down and choose a mode you’ll pay with.
Step 3: Finally, enter your card details as well as your email address + and password. These are the credentials you’ll use to login to the VPN.
Step 4: Now, simply download the VPN. You can download it Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Linux, or even as browser extensions.
Step 5: Install the VPN and enter your login details.
Step 6: Once you’re in, simply go to the “countries” option (the “globe” icon). This will give you a list of all the countries you can connect to.
(Yes, no special steps are required to enable “Obfuscated servers” on PureVPN).
Step 7: Once you’re connected to any country, simply go to Binance.com or launch the Binance app.
Why did I select PureVPN?
Why should you just go with PureVPN? What makes it one of the best Binance VPNs in the industry? Here’s the answer.
Obfuscated servers
As stated earlier, Binance is capable of detecting VPNs. Hence, we need a VPN that can “hide” the fact that it’s a VPN, don’t we?
Obfuscated servers allow just that. They are special servers which make VPN traffic look like normal internet traffic.
This means, your ISP, government, or even websites you visit (Binance in this case) can’t detect that you’re even using a VPN.
This is almost a “mandatory” feature if you’re trying to access Binance with a VPN.
Dedicated IP
This is the second feature that any Binance VPN must have.
So, Binance is very protective of its users, at times a bit too much, isn’t it? Don’t tell me those weekly logouts and 2-FA verifications don’t itch you even a little bit, eh?
Hence, it monitors the IPs used to log in to an account very closely.
The IP is what tells Binance the user’s location and previous login history.
If your IP changes constantly, which it will with a normal VPN, Binance detects something is fishy.
So, you need a VPN that offers you a “permanent IP address”. Unfortunately, most VPNs don’t. The IP address with most VPNs is assigned at random, based on the location you select.
This is another reason I opted for PureVPN for this guide on how to use VPN with Binance.
It offers you a dedicated IP address. This means, you get a permanent IP address assigned just for you. It doesn’t change.
This also protects you from “bad neighbors”. It’s just a phenomena when another VPN user who uses the same IP as you, does something bad. That IP may get blacklisted and if you use that for Binance, it won’t work for you.
Binance-supported countries and servers
The second very important feature you need is availability of Binance-supported regions. The more the merrier. Of course, a VPN that doesn’t have a good list of supported countries will not cut it for you, would it?
Fortunately, PureVPN offers you a list of over 70 countries to choose from.
This list of course includes nearly all the major countries where Binance isn’t banned.
Speed
If you’re searching for a Binance VPN, you’re of course into Crypto. If you’re into Crypto, I’m confident you understand how precious a single second can be.
Well, the VPN you select must be fast. If it’s not, you may miss that entry/exit you’ve been aiming for.
This is another reason which pushed me towards PureVPN. The VPN has over 6500 servers. That’s more than nearly any VPN I’ve ever used (and trust me, I’ve used nearly all the major VPNs out there).
All these servers ensure no matter how many users log onto the VPN or what your location is, you get the fastest possible speeds.
Up to 10 simultaneous connections
Another Binance-friendly feature is simultaneous connections, especially if you’re a trader.
Multiple screens/devices for multiple assets becomes a necessity with time. Now, it’s not practical to pay for each device that you use the VPN on.
That’s where these simultaneous connections come to the rescue.
PureVPN allows the maximum number of simultaneous devices (excluding those VPNs that allow unlimited devices) to be connected at a time.
You can use the VPN on up to 10 devices at a time, without paying anything extra.
This means, your computers, iPads, phones and everything else can be connected at the same time.
2 other reasons why I opted for PureVPN
First, PureVPN doesn’t keep logs. This has been independently verified by third-party agencies. So, on top of Binance, you can use the VPN for pretty much anything.
Some of those things you can do is “unblock Netflix”. Did you know despite you paying Netflix in full, you only get access to partial content. Yes, Netflix doesn’t give you 100% of its library.
Much of its content is region-specific. So, you’re only getting a fraction of the available content, that’s allowed in your region.
However, PureVPN is capable of unblocking Netflix regions US, Canada, Australia, Denmark, France, United Kingdom, and even Japan (Anime fans, assemble!).
Now, most VPNs can’t unblock Netflix and even when they do, they don’t unblock as many regions as this.
How much does PureVPN cost?
Well this is one of the other reasons I opted for PureVPN. Despite offering all the features that it does, it’s one of the cheapest VPNs in the industry.
The VPN costs just $2.08/month if you go for its 24 month plan. And you even get 3 free months here which brings the effective cost /month even cheaper.
Can I try PureVPN for free?
Of course, you can.
I totally understand if you don’t just want to commit to a plan unless you’re sure about its potential.
Fortunately, PureVPN has a 31 day refund policy!
That’s an entire month you get to play with PureVPN without risking anything. If you aren’t 100% satisfied with the VPN, you simply opt for a refund. It’s a “no questions asked” policy!
Final words- How to use VPN with Binance
I hope you’ve learnt how to use a VPN with Binance by now? Well, there aren’t any special steps required anyway, are there?
You simply get a VPN that offers the features a Binance VPN should offer and connect to a server.
Hey, you sure can go with other VPNs. However, in my opinion, PureVPN just offers the most features and Binance-friendly features, especially considering the price.
That’ll be all for now folks. If this piece helped you access Binance with a VPN, do share it with a friend?
