What is Collaborator.pro?
As the name suggests, Collaborator.pro is a “Collaboration” platform. It basically is a content marketing platform that lets you gain exposure for your app/website/startup etc. It also lets you make money if you’re on the other side and are able to offer said exposure. It basically acts as an escrow/mediator making sure both parties fulfil their ends of the bargain.
It connects publishers (those who need exposure) with advertisers (those who can offer exposure).
You can join if you own a product/service that needs promotion or have a website/Telegram channel that can offer the promotion.
Yes, unlike other Collaboration platforms, Collaborator.pro isn’t limited just to “Websites”. You heard that right. Sure, you can promote your website and project on websites but you can also promote on Telegram channels!
Specifically, you either can get your post/articles published on a website, or get your “links” shared on Telegram channels.
Here’s an overview of all its primary features:
- Website: https://collaborator.pro/
- Promotions on: Websites & Telegram channels
- Payment modes: Cryptocurrencies, Bank transfers, Cards, Payoneer etc.
- Deposit fee: 10%
- Withdrawal fee: 15%
- Support: Live-chat
- 1 year protection against deletion and deindexation.
Single account for both Publishing and Advertising
This is a feature that I’ve desperately been looking for. Unlike most other similar platforms, you do not have to create two separate accounts for publishing and advertising.
Rather, a single account lets you sign in both as a publisher as well as an advertiser. You can switch between the modes at any time.
Advertiser- User interface
Do you need to be a tech-wiz in order to use Collaborator? Not exactly. Even if this is your first-ever use of Collaborator, you wouldn’t feel lost.
I say that because this is what you see when you first login as an advertiser:
Focus on the progress-bar at the bottom-left sidebar. It has a list of things you should do. If you simply follow this list and complete these steps, you’re done. It’s almost a guided process, isn’t it?
You can also use the left-sidebar to go to your Control Panel, projects, browse a list of available sites etc.
All in all, I’m confident the screen is pretty easy to understand and navigate around, isn’t it?
Multiple Payment Modes
Of course we need to look at the payment modes as well, don’t we? Fortunately, Collaborator offers more than one ways to make your payments.
You can pay using :
- Cards
- Cryptocurrencies (USDT)
- Payoneer
- And Bank transfers.
Now those I believe are more than enough to cover you no matter where you’re from and what payments you prefer, don’t you agree?
Collaborator Deposit Fees
So, how much do you pay to deposit on Collaborator? Do note that this is specifically the “deposit fees”. It also primarily applies to advertisers as only they need to deposit funds for their projects.
The fee will primarily depend on the mode of deposit used.
- Bank cards: 3.5%
- USDT: 4%
- Bank transfers: 1%
- Payoneer- Free.
On top of this there’s a 10% deposit fee. Yes, it seems high but it’s not. With most other platforms, you pay a commission for each ‘job’. On the other hand, you pay a one-time deposit fee on Collaborator and that’s it. This actually brings down your ‘per job’ cost as compared to paying for each job.
In my opinion, it’s not exactly “expensive”, is it?
Instant & everyday withdrawals
This is an extremely rare feature that most other similar platforms miss out on. With most other collaboration platforms I’ve used, there’s usually some wait-time before I can request my funds.
Also, those other platforms generally send funds on specific days of the month/week.
On Collaborator.pro, publishers can request instant withdrawals as soon as their project is cleared. More importantly, the platform sends out withdrawals every single day! No more waiting!
Project creation settings
So, how exactly do you create a project for promotion on Collaborator? Hey, if you’re spending your time on this Collaborator.pro review, I’ll make sure you get every bit of information possible!
Well, this is the project creation page:
You simply enter your project URL, name, country, region, city and your central theme.
Do note that the “Country” selection isn’t absolute. Meaning, your project can also be picked up from any publisher across the globe and region. However, specifying a country/region may help you get picked by publishers from that specific region.
Next, you get to specify your anchor texts. What’s special is, you may or may not allow modifications. If you check the “Allow to decline” checkbox, the publisher can change the anchor text. This may allow them to include more appropriate and content specific anchor texts.
That’s about it! You just created your first project!
Extremely transparent (and verified) publisher stats
When it comes to exposure, it’s extremely important that you select the right sites. Not just from a conversion perspective but getting published on the wrong niche even messes up your SEO.
Fortunately, Collaborator offers an extremely detailed list of stats you can use to verify a site’s standards.
At first glance, you’ll see basic details such as:
- Site URL
- Subject (niche)
- Traffic (verified and fetched from Google Analytics/ SimilarWeb or other similar sources).
- Domain Rating
- No. of reviews
- And Pricing
This information alone is enough to get you a more than decent idea about a site, isn’t it?
However, if you click on any site from this list, you get access to even more details.
As the screenshot above shows, the detailed information page includes:
- Traffic (verified data fetched from Google Analytics)
- Domain Rating (fetched from Ahrefs)
- Amount being charged (on the right) etc.
- Reviews
- And even “Section where it’ll be placed”
On the same page, if you scroll down, a ton of other information is available as well. This includes:
- Post requirement
- Placement speed
- Trust Score and Citation Score (fetched from Majestic)
- Advertising mark: The presence, or the lack thereof of a label that will indicate that the article is sponsored.
- Google Index: The total no. of indexed pages for the site.
- Site type
- Link type: Dofollow/ Nofollow
- No. of anchors allowed
- Over 2 dozen Ahrefs data. This includes Ahrefs rank, DR, UR, Organic traffic according to Ahrefs, referral domains, linked domains, total backlinks and a lot more. You can learn more about Ahrefs and its superpowers if you read this extremely detailed Ahrefs review.
- Serpstat Data: Alike the Ahrefs data, Collaborator also fetches data from Serpstat and shows you SDR, referring domains, incoming links, no. of “Top 100” results and more. Again, we’ve got an ultra-detailed Serpstat review if you’d like to know what else Serpstat uncovers.
That’s not all.
If you scroll down, it also shows your monthly traffic as well as traffic sources.
There’s a graph showing traffic and the different traffic sources are listed on the side.
Bottom line? You’ll get an extremely detailed insight into every listed site. More importantly, these stats are verified and are guaranteed to be correct.
Insurance against deletion and deindexation
Now this is something that’s extremely important but isn’t offered by most Collaborator alternatives.
Collaborator has an “insurance” you can opt for. It’s always at a fixed price of 10% of your total transaction.
If you go for the Insurance, Collaborator.Pro protects your article for 1 year. What does it protect against?
Deletion and de-indexation. In simpler words, it’s ensured that your article will not be deleted, or de-indexed for at least 1 year.
Only high quality websites/Telegram channels accepted
The quality of websites is of utmost importance, isn’t it? Sure, Collaborator accepting “everyone” sounds good, especially for the publishers but it would kill the quality.
Fortunately, that’s not the case. Collaborator has very specific requirements when it comes to acceptance. Websites only get accepted if they meet these metrics.
The general rule is that the website must have at least 300 visits/ day or in worst-case scenarios, 5000 visits/month. If your website doesn’t see 5000 visits/month, it won’t be accepted.
On top of that, other criteria such as niche, authority, design etc. are taken into account as well.
As for Telegram channels, only channels with a minimum of 500 subscribers are accepted.
On top of that, it also requires a minimum of 500 subscribers on a Telegram channel for it to be accepted.
Now, it does have a very long list of “banned” topics. This includes gambling, politics, drugs and so on. But hey, that’s just to keep things legal and ethical.
Withdrawal fee
Like all other platforms that use a wallet/deposit system, there of course is a withdrawal fee.
Collaborator charges 15% on The withdrawal fee on Collaborator is a tad-bit high in my personal opinion. But hey, that’s all this is, my personal opinion.
Support
Of course, any platform that offers fast and responsive support is desirable, isn’t it? Collaborator has a 24X7 live-chat.
Let me be honest. The live-chat isn’t exactly “instant”. They take a few hours to reply to queries. However, if you’re active and reply instantly upon receiving a reply the next replies are instant.
Of course you can also mail them if that’s your preferred mode of communication.
Frequently Asked Questions
Here are answers to a few questions that you may have:
#1. As a publisher, what is my review period?
If an advertiser accepts your job and has sent you a final draft of what he/she is going to publish, you’ve 3 days to either accept or send it for further review.
#2. Are Collaborator.pro sites good?
As explained in this review, you get detailed & verified stats for each listed site. This helps you decide which site are good-enough for you and which you’d skip.
#3. Will I be scammed by the other party?
That’s just not possible. One of Collaborator.pro’s primary jobs is to act as a mediator. In case the other party doesn’t offer you what they should, they don’t get paid. Your funds are only released to the other party once the job is successfully completed.
Collaborator.pro review-Final verdict
So, is Collaborator.pro the best content marketing platform in the industry? Well, it certainly is one of them if not “the” best.
I say that only because it has tons of green flags. Its current site & telegram database, easy UI, multiple ways to pay, affordable fee, instant withdrawals, insurance etc. do not leave much room for complaint, do they?
Of course, a lower fee would be much appreciated. But hey, I’ve paid either an equal or higher fee multiple times on other platforms so I’m not complaining much.
That’s about it folks. Why don’t you sign up? It’s free, instant and will get you a much better idea of the platform than this Collaborator.pro review.
