BrandPush Review: What is BrandPush?
BrandPush, as the name suggests, helps you push your brand.
It does that by helping you
“get your article/PR published on over 275 news sites.”
“News sites” is the keyword here. That’s because these aren’t normal blogs or websites. Rather, these are some of the most influential websites on the planet that have their own brand value and aren’t just limited to SEO benefits.
In other words, each order would get you a minimum of 200 high-quality backlinks, and that’s “guaranteed”. In most cases, each order gets users coverage on over 350 sites!
Do you really need BrandPush?
In my personal opinion, here’s why BrandPush may actually help nearly every business out there:
- Backlinks: They still are arguably the most important SEO boosters in the industry. With each BrandPush order, you get over 200 links. Links from high quality and very established websites (in other words, not spam!).
- Direct traffic: Each PR will be read by a few hundred thousand visitors at the least. Some may click on the links to land directly at your website/landing page.
- “Trust and brand booster”: Imagine being able to display a “We’re covered by” badge with logos of Fox network/ NBC/ The Daily Herald and other such giants on your website. This massively boosts visitor trust and your credibility, hence, resulting in higher conversions.
I’m keeping it short so as to not waste your time. There are a few other benefits (more sponsorships, better deals and so on) to being published on such networks. However, I’m sure you’ve got the idea.
Which sites can BrandPush get us published on?
That’s the first question I asked once I heard of the brand. I’m sure you’ve got similar doubts?
As mentioned earlier in this BrandPush review, they can get us published on over 350 news sites.
Combined, you get access to 23, 921, 700+ monthly readers. (Imagine the potential if just 0.1% of these convert/visit your site).
Obviously, listing them all isn’t possible. So, I’d simply list some of the best ones so you get an idea of what’s being offered.
You can get published on:
- Fox News
- USA Today
- Market Watch
- Google News
- Digital Journal
- And 270+ other similar sites.
BrandPush “guarantees” publication on most of these sites. So you aren’t dependent on “luck” or “approval” for the most part.
Do you get homepage/primary site coverage on these sites?
For the most part, the answer is yes.
You get published on the main website for sites such as Digital Journal, Market Watch, Daily Herald and so on.
However, in some cases, you’re published on local affiliates and/or sister sites. This is primarily the case with Fox or USA Today.
This is expected and natural. These are some of the biggest names in the news industry globally. They wouldn’t accept random posts regardless of the money you’re capable of offering them.
Are these affiliate sites worth it then? Well, Fox 40, an affiliate of Fox network gets at least 190K monthly hits, and has a domain authority of 76! Similarly, WRDE, an NBC affiliate sees nearly 116K hits and holds a 64DA!
So yes, even these affiliated sites are extremely powerful in terms of SEO juice or even direct exposure.
Transparent data (and sample report)
This is something I loved about BrandPush. They give me a very detailed insight into the sites’ traffic and DA even before I sign up or send them anything.
As the screenshot shows, BrandPush shows the details for each site individually. This helps you get an idea of what you’re getting beforehand.
Then, I love their reports! Here’s what a normal report looks like:
It gives you live links to every single article published for you. Then, the Moz Rank, Domain Authority, social strength, Alexa rank and monthly traffic for each site is shown.
What article types are accepted? (2 network bundles)
So, does this mean you can get anything and everything published? Absolutely not.
These sites are super strict with what type of content gets published on them.
Now, BrandPush offers 2 different networks (site bundles). The “Popular” bundle contains about 200 websites. However, it contains stronger, more established and hence stricter websites.
The “Alternative News Network” bundle offers 250+ sites. Some of the major sites from the “Popular” aren’t available in this one. But that makes it less strict and more accepting to a wider range of articles.
E.g. you can’t get the following types of articles published on the Popular bundle:
- Alcohol
- Dating
- Cryptocurrencies
- Politics
- Legal drugs
- Supplements
- Aesthetic surgery
- Gambling
- Underwear/Swimwear
- And a few other exceptions.
However, all of these article types are accepted on the “Alternative News Network” bundle.
Obviously, the Alternative bundle has a few limitations as well. In other words, the following article types can’t be published anywhere using BrandPush:
- Negative Press (defaming/insulting someone/something)
- Weapons
- Adult content
Self upload or let them write for you
So, who writes the articles that are published?
Well, BrandPush lets you upload your own articles if you want to. They also write the articles for you on their more expensive plan.
Now, regardless of your writing skills, it’s better to just let them write. This is because what you’re publishing isn’t just an “article”, it’s mostly a Press Release.
Hence, there are a few strict rules the PR must adhere to. If you’ve never done it before, learning the format and making that piece a “good” one may be a challenge.
However, the company does provide a completely free PR template. It’s a MS-Word file you can download and edit. It already adheres to most rules. You simply need to change the text and the images to fit your brand/promotion.
Links, word count and media rules
What’s the entire point of using BrandPush? Getting a backlink, and some exposure, isn’t it?
So, what type of link do you get? How many links do you get? How many images can you use? If you aren’t asking these questions, you’re new to the game. Either way, here are the answers.
BrandPush mostly offers “no follow” links. And hey, that’s expected. Even I do not offer do follow links to third-party sites easily and I’m nowhere near Fox network or USA Today.
More importantly, a no-follow link is still a “link”. So, if your PR is well-written, you’ll still attract a lot of manual clicks = direct traffic to your website, wouldn’t you?
“BrandPush lets you insert 3 links in each article.”
As for images, it allows 6 images for articles on the “Popular” network. On the “Alternative” network, you can only insert 1 image/article. You can even include videos!
As for the word count, the Popular network accepts articles which are between 350-800 words. The Alternative network on the other hand accepts longer articles, up to 1,000 words.
5-day delivery and 24-month retention
We all love fast deliveries, don’t we? Well, BrandPush requires either 5 days or 7 days for delivering each order. The time-frame depends on a few factors:
- Your pricing plan with BrandPush
- The no. of revisions required for your article
If BrandPush is writing your article, they do that in about 48 hours.
Another question related to time is, how long will your article be live? Do note that it’s not “forever”.
The shortest your article will be live is 3months. The maximum it’ll be live is 24 months on most websites.
200 Websites or 100% refund
I haven’t seen many PR companies offering a 100% refund, or a guarantee. BrandPush offers both!
It guarantees publishing you on at least 200 websites, or, you get a 100% refund.
Then, there’s a 50% refund during the writing process. Meaning, if your articles aren’t published yet and are in the writing/review phase and you decide to change your mind, you’ll receive a 50% refund.
On top of the 50%, you also get the written article and 100% usage rights to it!
Free White labelled reports
Let’s say you’re an agency, or a freelancer. Maybe you’ve got a client-base? Well, you can use BrandPush to sell these services with a white labelled report!
In other words, BrandPush offers 100% free white labelled reports with each order. No extra payments are demanded.
In other words, your clients will never know you’ve used BrandPush. These reports do not contain any mention/logo/text linked to BrandPush.
There’s a web version, a spreadsheet version as well as a plaintext version of these reports.
In fact, they even offer discounts on bulk orders. Handy if you’re a marketer or an agency, isn’t it?
BrandPush pricing plans
So, before I wrap this BrandPush review up, let’s talk of how much the service costs?
There are 3 plans you can go with:
- Starter– $195/order- 200 guaranteed publications, 5 day delivery, you have to upload your own article.
- Plus– $229/order- 200 guaranteed publications, 7 day delivery, 350 word article included, 2 revisions.
- Pro– $259/order- Everything in the “Plus” plan but with a 500 word article and unlimited revisions.
I’ll say this is dirt-cheap, literally. Let me explain?
Even on the most expensive plan, you’re spending $259, which is for a minimum of 200 links. In reality, you’ll probably get 300+ publications. That’s just about $0.80cent/article or link! And this is on the most expensive plan!
BrandPush review- Conclusion
Let me sign off this BrandPush review then? Time for my personal opinion. Talking purely in terms of numbers, I’d say BrandPush is a profitable deal, period. I mean $0.8 cents for a link? How cheap can I expect it to be?
Then, the entire process requires less than a few minutes at best from your end. You simply enter your name, an e-mail and your website/social media URL! Done.
Then there’s the 100% refund policy, 200-link guarantee, as well as the 50% refund if you change your mind midway. All these count as positive flags, don’t they?
So yes, in my opinion, for all intents and purposes I’d like to conclude this BrandPush review on a very positive note.
