Here are the 15 best VPN for streaming which let you stream anything, anywhere in 2024. No restrictions based on your country or your ISP.
While picking the best VPN services for streaming, I had to pay special attention to the “streamer-needs”. Yes, they do differ significantly from what I look for in a normal VPN.
For starters, I had to make sure that all of these VPNs being included here provide acceptable speeds. It’s normal for VPNs to slow your connection down (not willingly) in most cases.
I also had to be sure of selecting only those VPNs which have the least effect on speed. Only a fast VPN could offer buffer-free streaming experience.
Then, I paid special attention to the bandwidth-policy of these VPNs. Some VPNs have restrictions on how much of a bandwidth you can use in a specific period of time. So I made sure all of the VPNs included here offer either unlimited, or really massive bandwidth allowances.
And finally, you only get to access a small part of Netflix (and most other streaming services). A lot of content is geo-locked and only available to people from specific countries. This is largely due to the streaming platform’s copyright agreements with the content creators. Streaming companies ban VPNs to prevent access to those restricted content.
Infact, Netflix is often crowned with having the best VPN-detection system as well. However, the VPNs listed below aren’t (currently) blacklisted by most streaming services.
When they are, almost all of these companies have the budget and technical capability to change their IP addresses as required, hence de-listing themselves from the blacklist.
So using these VPNs you’d actually be able to access the entirety of the Netflix library and other streaming services instead of just a smaller chunk of them.
We also took into account the number of “simultaneous connections” offered. The more connections, the more streaming you can enjoy. Let’s jump in.

The 15 Best VPN for Streaming in 2024
1. NordVPN
Website: https://www.nordvpn.com
NordVPN is my favourite VPN Company in general. It’s fully packed with all the streamer-sensitive features listed above (and more, a lot more).
For starters, its chat-bot lists a number of Streaming services it easily unblocks. Well the list isn’t all-inclusive.
We tried using Netflix with NordVPN and the VPN did deliver!
Almost all other streaming services (including some personally-owned platforms) were easily unblocked when we tried the VPN. The VPN also tells you the exact specialized streaming servers you need to connect to in order to stream.

On top of all this, the VPN offers double-VPN, Onion over VPN, DNS Leak protection CyberSec and a strict No-Logs policy. Double VPN routes your traffic through not just one, but two locations on the planet (a very rare security feature!)
Onion over VPN is perfect for using the Tor browser or the onion network with added encryption. DNS Leak protection makes sure your OS doesn’t act dumb and leak DNS and the No-logs policy protects you from Judicial reviews!
The kill-switch too is available. It’s available across all platforms, including Windows, Linux, iOS, Android, Linux, Mac, Android TV and many others.
Pros:

Additionally, it also offers split-tunnelling, which allows you to specify which apps/websites use the VPN and which don’t. In other words, you can add apps such as Netflix, Hulu, BBC, or a specific browser for split tunnelling.
Once done, only that app/browser would use the VPN. Your other internet activities are carried out off-VPN like a normal connection. It also has an in-built speed-test tool which helps you select the fastest server for your streaming purposes!
A number of connection protocols including TCP, UDP, IKEv2, IPsec, L2TP, and PPTP are available. Unlimited bandwidth is offered. The total number of simultaneous connections allowed is 5 and it allows purchasing more connections.

Final Words
Wrapping this piece on the best VPN services for streaming, I have but only a few words. Let’s start with the fact that this article is completely subject to change.
Streaming platforms have waged a war against VPN companies. Hence no VPN is “guaranteed” to always work with a streaming platform. However, most of the ones listed above only suffer temporary bans and revive themselves quickly.
Secondly, try connecting to different servers within the same country while accessing a streaming platform if the first choice doesn’t work.
And not that using a VPN to access streaming services is completely legal. Your accounts too are mostly safe without any major repercussions.
Finally, a VPN’s speed, compatibility and overall result varies greatly depending on a number of factors. Hence I do not guarantee that you’ll obtain the exact same result as for the exact same VPNs.
All in all, I’d say pick NordVPN if you need a quick solution to your streaming problems. Or go through the entire list if you’ve the time. Either way, let us know which company you think offers the best VPN for streaming.
