Best Azmovies alternatives in 2024. These websites will let you stream movies & shows and maybe even download them in some cases. But I will recommend you not to download movies/series from these free movie sites. Only watching movies online is a safe option.
You’ll never need to register, pay, or subscribe to anything. It’s all 100% free. I’ve detailed the UI, available content, video-player settings, quality control, and other features for every single website mentioned below.
Yes, this isn’t an absolute list and there sure are other sites but something tells me this list should suffice. Let’s get started then.
Table of Contents
Wait! Block viruses, ads and unblock restricted sites first.
Three problems that you’re bound to face on these websites are blocked content, ads, and viruses.
These Azmovies alternatives aren’t exactly “harmless”. In fact, these websites almost certainly know you’ll be using their search boxes to search for movies. They also know you’ll click on all those movie titles and thumbnails to watch your favorite movies.
The problem is, that most of these free movie streaming sites are spammed to death with hidden links. Your clicks will often take you to very legit-looking but very dangerous malware. These are often disguised as movie downloaders, subtitle generators, and so on.
It’s very hard to spot a legit movie-player page from a cleverly designed malware page. Even when it’s not malware, I’m sure you would hate having to close a dozen new tabs before you can play your movie.
And lastly, it’s very possible that the sites like Azmovies listed below do not work for you. That’s because they’re probably being blocked by your ISP (internet provider) or govt.
To solve all of that, all you need is a VPN. A good VPN will block ads, hidden links, detect viruses, and most importantly, bypass all blocks.
Choosing an actually good VPN is a hassle because they all claim to be the “best”. You can go with NordVPN though. It’s the most feature-rich and reasonably-priced VPN I’ve ever seen. If you need more options (and reasons why VPN X is better than Y), here’s a list of the best VPNs for streaming.

The 7 Best Azmovies Alternatives 2024
1. UpMovies
Website: https://upmovies.to/
Upmovies, formerly known as 5movies is a good replacement for Azmovies. For starters, the interface is extremely professional and easy to use. There’s an automated slider as well as a manual slider that shows new movies you can watch.
Most of the content is extremely fresh and you can find nearly all the new movies here. It’s not just movies either, it has a huge database of Cartoon and anime as well like Kissanime.
I however am in love with its thumbnails. That’s because its thumbnails are informative (it’s not common). The thumbnails list the “quality” of the movie, along with the exact episode so you know what you’re clicking on. If you hover, more details are shown without having to click on each thumbnail.
Another reason why it’s at the top here? It offers nearly 20 streaming servers. That’s the highest number on this list. Your movie will play no matter how many servers are offline.
The only downside is quality-control and subtitles aren’t available. Although, most available movies are 720P or higher by default.
You can find your movies either using the search-bar or by using the genre/countries/release-year filters. The right sidebar also has a “recommended movies” list as well as a “top 10” list.
2. AZMovies
Website: https://azmovies.rip/
You know why this website has been listed. The name is pretty clear, isn’t it? Its interface is extremely welcoming as well. At the very top a list of the most recent releases is displayed. On the left, you see a list of “popular” content.
Scroll down and you’ll see “categories” and also a “by year” filter. Not to forget the search bar that always can be used for specific searches. Long story short, you’ll find your movie easily, period.
The freshness of the content is impressive. It’s in no way less than UpMovies listed above. The thumbnails however aren’t informative. You’ll have to click a movie’s thumbnail and play the movie before you know its quality.
You may not find many servers as I’ve often found just a single server for most content. The video player does let you control the quality. Most movies are often 1080P and you can lower the pixels if you want to.
Yes, ads exist. Dozens. Hence, get NordVPN.
3. MoviesJoy
Website: https://moviesjoy.plus/home
MoviesJoy looks & feels like most other Azmovies alternatives on this list. A top bar that lets you filter for your movies. Available filters include genre, country, movies, TV shows, Top IMDb, etc.
You can also simply type the movie’s name in its search box. If you scroll down, you’ll see a “trending” section, followed by a section called “latest movies” and then “latest TV shows”. These help you pick something up easily as well.
The video player is actually pretty feature-rich. You do get to control the quality, you can upgrade/downgrade it. In most cases, the highest available quality would be 1080P and the lowest 360P. Similarly, it even has built-in subtitles. These are often in English, French, Spanish, and a few other languages.
Again, the thumbnails display the movie quality which is a win for me. I hate having to play a movie to know what quality I’m being offered.
The movies are fresh. The newest titles are generally available, just not as fresh as UpMovies (yes, I’ve compared. See, these lists aren’t placed at random).
You do get 2 servers for most movies. The movie pages do share more information about each movie so you know what to expect.
4. CineB
Website: https://cineb.rs/
CineB clearly says if you want to watch free movies online, it’s the platform to go to. Can’t say I disagree.
The homepage has tons of movies you can choose from. Either pick one from its “trending” section, or the “latest” section. Yes, you can switch between movies/TV shows as well.
The listings are informative as they tell us the quality of the movie. They also list the exact season/episode for TV shows which ensures you won’t spend hours hunting for the exact episode you need.
The video players are optimized as well. If you click on any episode from a series, generally, a list of all other available seasons and episodes is displayed.
The servers do not disappoint either. It offers 2-5 servers which sure are enough, aren’t they? Everything I’ve seen so far is either 720P or higher by default.
The video player is equally impressive, you get to control the quality and there are built-in subtitles. The subtitles are not just in English but also in over a dozen other languages.
More information about the movies can be found on the movie pages but I am confident you couldn’t care less about those eh?
5. Xmovies
Website: https://xmovies8.fun/trending
Despite the name, this is an Azmovies alternative and not a replacement for Xvideos. The website has a top bar that offers filters such as genre, language, year, movies, TV shows, etc.
You can also simply scroll down on the website and you’ll see a long list of available movies and shows like Vumoo. The thumbnails are not my favorite feature. They tell me the movie’s rating, release year, and name but NOT the quality.
You can expect half a dozen servers for most content. This means you may find quality as well as subtitle control in some cases on the video players. Although I haven’t been able to find those, the quality of the content has never been a disappointment.
It’s truly international and even though it’s dominated by Hollywood movies, you’ll find Hindi movies as well as movies from regional production houses in India.
6. LookMovie2
Website: https://www.lookmovie2.to/
We recently did a Lookmovie alternatives list and this one was definitely there. Simply click its “filter” option at the top and you’ll be presented with many filters to narrow your searches down.
Movie recency isn’t a problem either. It even has movies from multiple nations and production houses such as Hollywood, Bollywood, China, Korea, and others.
Its thumbnails are the biggest you’ll see amongst the other Azmovies alternatives on this list. It also displays the quality which is very desirable. Even ratings are displayed on the thumbnails.
Surprisingly, it only offers a single server for most movies/shows. No backup option is available. The video player does offer quality control as well as built-in subtitles.
7. SFlix
Website: https://sflix.to/
SFlix has a very professional interface like Flixtor that greets you. Pick your movie from the big slider or the list on the right.
You can also simply pick a movie from the “trending” section, or the “latest movies/shows” section. It even has a “coming soon” section which tells you what content isn’t currently available but will be available in the near future.
For most of the movies/shows, I’ve found it offering 2 servers. Not impressive but totally acceptable, isn’t it?
The available content is generally pretty new and the video player offers quality control as well. It even has in-built subtitles even though they’re mostly limited just to English.
Frequently Asked Questions
I’m sure you’ve got questions, allow me to answer a few of them.
Is Azmovies safe?
That will depend on which Azmovies alternative you’re on. There are dozens of fake sites with malicious intent. Even on the original site, the website doesn’t control the ads or their content. Hence, it’s best to always treat it as unsafe and use a VPN for your own good.
Is Azmovies legal?
We haven’t verified the legality of Azmovies. It doesn’t say anywhere on the website that it’s “not” legal, or that they do not have proper licensing or streaming rights. However, you can never be too careful. Again, a VPN will protect your identity and keep you anonymous in case things aren’t right.
Why is Azmovies not working?
The most common reason could be that it’s banned in your region. Again, the VPN helps bypass the restriction and lets you access the website. (I know, I’ve said VPN too many times but it truly is the “all-in-one” solution).
How to watch movies on Azmovies?
It’s not rocket science. You simply have to go to the website (or pick any Azmovies alternatives from this list) and click on the movie you wish to watch.
Can I use Azmovies to stream movies free without a VPN?
100%. It’s “technically” possible as long as it’s not banned by your ISP/govt and you’re okay closing half a dozen ads after each click.
Final Words
So those were the best replacements you can find for Azmovies folks. They’ll all let you stream and in some cases even download movies for free. Of course, they have their strengths and weaknesses as you may have noticed.
It’s best to always check more than just one of these sites as you may find a better print on some.
Whatever you do, be sure to use a VPN. It doesn’t have to be NordVPN, even though I recommend it. But please, get a VPN. You’re risking a lot more than your privacy and anonymity in case you think “I’m smart, I don’t need a VPN”. Trust me, the hackers are smarter.
